Hey folks, it`s already Thursday which means it`s Tutorial time. So today on the Asana Menu a great standing posture which helps you to stay balanced and grounded in life. It provides you with strength and flexibility, physically as well mentally and helps to support willpower and the ability of getting things done.

Extended Hand to Big Toe Pose

Prep Pose:

    • Supta Padangushtasana
    • Supta Virasana
    • Uttanasana

How to get in there:

Come into Tadasana first. Shift the weight on to your right leg and start bending  your left knee towards your chest. Take your left hand and grab the outer side of your left foot. And then just pause for a moment. Find balance and get stable in your legs before you move on.

Keep your hips firm while extending the left leg forward. With your back straight slowly bring the left leg towards the side. Rooting down with your right leg while moving your hips back. If you have to bend the left knee that`s totally fine, we all started somewhere 😉

Modifications and Props:

You can hold this pose longer by supporting the raised foot on top of a railing or chair.
